I'm on day 12 of Fibrovan -"Phase I" - and I feel great. Is anyone else trying it? Many of the women in my family are now using it. The acute pain went away in 2 days. Ovulation pain with nausea calmed completely when I took an extra dose in the evening. The ovulation pain was GONE the next morning, a first in years. I can now push on my fibroid uterus without pain. My uterus was 12cm vs 9cm norm 2 weeks ago. The excruciating tug of endometriosis (endo) adhesions were sending shooting pain into my low back/sacrum. Now it's gone. I feel a bit of low back aching throughout the day but not the shots.
Femstrual cycle within a week so I will write in, regardless of readers! I felt like I'd rather be dead with some of my cycles. PMS was hell. This months PMS is mellow, it's definitely present but far from "hell". Some pain with eliminations but it was quick whereas 2 weeks ago I had to hold onto the wall, bite my lips and breathe as if I was giving birth. I've also noticed my fibrocystic breasts are more supple and no pre-men aching...hm...they don't advertise that one. I've researched the ingredients: Natto or Nattokinase, Lycopene, and EGCG. All natural, high power foods. The research is worth the effort, I think you'll be amazed. From the research I believe this may aid in curing cancer in the body. The ingredients EAT fibrin. I've used enzymes for years with great effect but Natto is an enzyme with extraordinary action. The Asian culture was pretty much cancer free until lovely Americans introduced junk food. Natto is made from a Japanese soy bean process. Read!! Heal!! Be Empowered!! ![]() |

Third week on Fibrovan. I'm adding the results of my first menstrual cycle after starting the product.
I gauge my pain on a 1-5 scale. Last month hit 7 and stayed there for 4-6 hours. This month I hit level 5 for 1hour. The pain was different, not all encompassing/debilitating. It would go in waves. Lower level cramps continued off and on for 2 days. Less clots, way less yanking of adhesions. A marked difference in the bowel. Much much better. For years I've been constipated at cycle which made the pain worse. My energy and positive outlook are higher, easier. Now cycle is over and i don't feel any pain at all in the womb or pelvis area. I did feel the fibroids when I applied pressure during cycle but I can't feel them very much now. I consider these good changes. My breast fibrocysts are way better. The rise in energy is great. Will write in during next pms time or cycle to say how it all goes. The company says some women need up to 3 months to have permanent change and I consider my high stress level to be an attribute to the pain (and origin of cause for the condition of fibroids and endo) A good calming herbal mix i found is called: 'Happy Camper' in a yellow box at health food stores. The herbs are a great mix-passionflower, english lavender, kava, gotu kola, kola nut (small amt of caffeine). That's it for now women. Walk In Beauty! ![]() |

Hi. Thanks so much for these posts. I've had PMS pain all my life and was recently told I have fibroids - and that I could have surgery or take meds (or do nothing). The doctor put me on meds that have side effects like abdominal bleeding (!), so I'm going to try this - it sounds much better than what I've been doing.

I want to try Fibrovan but am afraid. I res somewhere that it can cause just as much if not more bleeding. How do you know if you are getting it froma reliable source?
Has anyone used Natural Progesterone Cream? Any results? |

In response to last message 3/04:
The first month I did experience more bleeding but less pain. The bleeding was strange and filled with tissue from the fibroids. I had to take Megafoods iron supplement and eat fish, seaweed and lots of dark leafys to rebuild my iron (that method works the same day to regain energy from blood loss). I felt great after I released all that excess junk. I don't mind the extra blood while the fibroids dissolve because I would never take a drug and risk all the effects that are far worse than extra blood in my perception. I love the extra energy I now have. The body needs lots of energy to heal itself. Regarding the reliable source: because it's a natural product the source is not a big issue. I researched all of the ingredients, it's all over the internet. The Fibrovan people couldn't make those claims without being sued if they didn't have the research covered and the client responses, it's a licensed pharmaceutical company called Komodo. Asian medicine is much older than and, in my experience, superior to western medicine. They have more experience, a deeper understanding of the bodies energy vs the western technique of dealing with symptoms. I would suggest dropping all fear and moving bravely forward in owning your body, trusting your gut instinct and going for "it", whatever "it" you choose to do from a place of trust. When I heard I had fibroids I went into full throttle research to heal myself and found Fibrovan the same day as the sonogram. I was taking the product within 3 days and the pain had stopped within 48 hours. It wasn't gone perse but it was different, more of a tug than those sharp pain stabs from hell. Now I very barely have pms and no tugging and definitely no stabs. Progesterone cream can work for smaller situations. If you have major pain, I think it would be a waste of cash. Floradix is a great liquid iron supplement and safe all month. Pills are not so safe unless you use a food based pill like Megafoods brand. That supplement should be taken only while you feel you need it-lack of energy, weak etc, typical low iron signals. [b]Anyone interested: I will be writing in about my last cycle on Fibrovan after this weekend. I've been using the product for 8 weeks now. Good Health to All, Erin |

Hi There,
I am on my 11 day of Fibrovan. The lower backache is almost gone. I feel some activity and than go normal poo ( for once) since Endo started in 2001 and see blood, fibrin tissue come out. I love this feeling of energy also. I am weak because of all the repairing the body is going through. I still have my thinned hair, dry eyes, loss of moisture, hypothyoidism etc. I also heard it takes three months for the full effect of healing from Fibrovan. I was wondering if anyone has tried Progesterone oil with this treatment? I have read its important to balance the adrenal glands and then the ovaries produce progesterone naturally? Anyone have any experiences with either of these? RNS |

Hi,
I am 30 and was diagnosed with fibroids a little over a month ago after dealing with long painful periods with many clots. I was told I had multiple small fibroids lining my uterus. My doctor did not give me much information so of course I turned to the internet. I found Fibrovan. I have been on Fibrovan for about a month now. My first period was awful. I had the heaviest bleeding that I have ever experienced, many clots as well. I emailed customer service at Fibrovan and they told me to quit taking the pills for 3 days because the dissolving process needed to be slowed down. They said that my first 1-2 periods would probably be heavy but to remain optimistic that the dissolving process is working. I am due to start my second period in about 10 days but to my suprise I started heavily bleeding yesterday with no end in sight. Cramps were so unbearable that I had to take a Percocet. Right now the bleeding is worse than my first period. When I use the restroom there are large clots and tons of flooding. The toliet looks like a murder scene...no exaggeration. I have emailed the customer service once again for advice ....and mostly for comfort. I have not taken another Fibrovan since yesterday. I am hoping that I do not bleed non stop until my regular period. Has anyone else had this experience with Fibrovan? Also I have been on birth control for almost 15 years now...when I was diagnosed with fibroids I thought my doctor would take me off of them...but she hasn't. Has anyone heard of a link between the 2??? My main concern is that I will be able to have children one day! thanks- Shannon |

Hi Shannon,
It sounds like you should definitely stop Fibrovan for a couple days or slow it down to 1 a day. I had alot of bleeding, clots and pain, although shorter lived, the first month. The 2nd month I had excessive bleeding but the pain was stopped by Advil (a first in over a year). I'd be sure to take Floradix right away- it's a natural iron supplement and or Mega Foods food based iron supplement. Plus I would add dark leafy greens, nuts, seaweed or seaweed caps to your diet. You don't want to become anemic. Start eating any healthy foods with iron and then stop the supplements when you feel better. Excess iron is no good either. Next week will be my 3rd month and I look forward to seeing how it turns out this time. Hang in there! Our bodies all react differently, some women have imbalanced chemistry that causes hemorrhaging (like my mother) so you have to use intuition on the dose. It's good the fibrin is leaving your body. Drink 3-4 quarts of water to stay hydrated. With the pain you should avoid coffee and sugar like the plague. Good health to you! It's so great we are all healing ourselves and giving support. Here's to a pain free and self empowered life, Erin |

Sunshine-
Feeling weak anytime during or after cycle is almost always anemia onset. That's typical for women that are losing extra blood or their cycles are coming on earlier than 28 days. As I said in the above post- Floradix, Mega Foods iron, dark greens, nuts, seaweed, any good food with lots of natural iron. (Google it) It's best to go to a health food store for these supplements since we are using a natural product to heal, may as well go all the way! The natural food stores will have superior products for more serious situations like ours. In Healthy Abundance, Erin |

Thanks Erin for your reply!
I have not taken Fibrovan for about 5 days now. I think based on the way my body feels, it is best to wait until my ACTUAL period comes and goes. I may try to start back up on Fibrovan with a lower dosage. As for right now, the bleeding has pretty much stopped but I still have small bouts of cramps about once a day...for about 20 minutes or so....but wierd that no bleeding occurs. Also I am feeling really bloated, almost a gassy feeling. I feel like a watermelon is in my stomach, very uncomfortable. I am still due to start my "real" period next week. I am hoping that it will be light since I lost so much blood and clots this last couple days! I will keep you all updated. Thanks again, Shannon |
